Dear Gallendar Family,
Although it has been a number of years since I have seen or talked to Chester I still considered him a great friend. My most sincere regrets to the whole family. I know he will be truly missed by all. I can't help but smile as I sit here remembering some of our experiences at Exxon. Some were fun and some were difficult but we made it through them all safely with Chester's help. So sorry I can't make the services but I will be there in prayers.
Glenn Merrill - February 8, 2011
My deepest condolances go to all of Chesters family and friends. I hired in with Chester at the Humble Oil Refinery and worked with or around him until he retired. We shared many work experiences and some fishing. Chester could be counted on anytime we had Electrical Power Systems Problems when he was our "626". Judy I feel you probably dreaded those 2 am and weekend telephone calls, therefore, I thank you for sharing him with his work family, also. May God Bless You and Your Family.
