Tuesday, February 15, 2011 Bates Family Funeral Home Obituary: Mrs. Becky Brown Cherry passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at her home in De Kalb, Texas. She was 57. Becky was born June 11, 1953 in De Kalb, Texas. She was a Beautician. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James A. Brown and Timothy Brown; and a nephew, Kelly Brown. She is survived by her husband, Mark Cherry of De Kalb, Texas; two daughters, Rachel Gross of De Kalb, Texas and Lauren Burkett of Malta, Texas; two brothers and a sister-in-law; Bill Brown of De Kalb, Texas and Joe Vance and Linda Brown of De Kalb, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Charles Barger of De Kalb, Texas; a special sister-in-law, Jackie Brown of De Kalb, Texas; a sister-in-law, Claudia Brown; a special niece, Beth Ann Whillock; 5 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rev. B.J. Hooker officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.
