Scott Day - March 20, 2011
Uncle James is in God's care now, celebrating with his family in heaven, dancing and singing with the tens of thousands of angels walking the streets of gold! I can only imagine the homecoming he had with Jesus and his family awaiting him! My deepest sympathy, prayers, and thoughts are with all the family. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory and God's strength help comfort all of you tomorrow. May Uncle James rest in eternal peace and health with God, we will meet again someday.

Ann,Kenny & Johnna , and the rest of the Barfield family, Sorry to hear of your loved ones passing, "Coach " as I and many of his former Little Leagers reffered to him.

What an amazing man! He touched the lives of so many people. He was a true disciple of Christ and spent his life devoted to his family. Jabo's unconditional love, generosity, and kindness are the traits so often admired in him by family, friends and business associates. His priorities in life (Christ and family) should be an example for us all. May God's comfort be with all those touched by his loss and especially Grannie, Kenny & Johnna, Scarlett & Patrick, Susie and his six beautiful grandchildren.

Ann and Family, I grieve with you for your loss. Your loss is Heaven's gain, but some days that is hard to hang on to. James was such a good friend to Bill and he was one of the first of Bill's friends I met after I moved to New Boston; they were involved in some of their 'horse trading' adventures and I learned early on how much Bill loved him. That told me all I needed to know about the character of James Walter. My best wishes are with you as you carry on without him. God Bless
