Obituary:
Bessie Daniel, 90, of De Kalb, Texas died Sunday, June 12, 2011, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Daniel was born March 4, 1921, in De Kalb, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and was a member of the De Kalb Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Daniel; a son, Milton Ray Daniel, Sr.; a grandson, Michael Ray Daniel; two brothers, Frank Williams and James Williams; and two sisters, Mae Walker and Neva Flanery.

Survivors include a Daughter and Son -in-law: Shirley and Clarence Braley of De Kalb, Texas; and Five Grandchildren and their Spouses: Milton Ray Daniel, Jr.; Tommy Daniel; Mary Jane Chappell, all of Texarkana, Texas; Melissa and Rick Murdock of South Lake, Texas; and Eddie and Susan Braley of Frisco, Texas; 11 Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandchild; Two Special Friends: Susan Reed and Jason Feasel; and Several other Family Members.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Bates Family Funeral Home Chapel - De Kalb, Texas with Willard Holiday and Robby Bates officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the funeral home.
