Dear Ted and Beth, I was very saddened to hear about Pat. Oh my, I have so many fond, wonderful memories of your Dad; what a kind, generous man your Dad was! I’ll always remember the hunting trips, campouts, and cookouts we all had with Pat at Cedar Creek, your Dad’s powder blue truck, huge antique collection, and his peach orchard. It was a privilege and honor to have known your Dad and have him in our family. I can only imagine the beautiful homecoming he had with Jesus and his family awaiting him in Heaven! May looking back in memory and the peace, comfort, strength, and healing that only God can provide be with you throughout the difficult days ahead. My deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go out to all the family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I love you all, Scott

OB Phillips - September 21, 2011
Sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I have many fond memories of him through DeKalb High School, Texas National Guard, reunions of our Class of 1957, some at his home. It seems that I have more friends on the other side than I do here. I know there is a celebration in Heaven now.
To the remaining family -- you can be sure that Pat lived the good life here and has built up many treasures in Heaven.
O B and Caroline Phillips, New Boston
