Obituary:
Claudia Lee Brown passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at a Texarkana hospital. She was 62.

Claudia was born July 28, 1949 in Clarksville, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Brown in 2010.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Julie Hamilton of Hooks, Texas and Carla and Andy Collie of De Kalb, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Carl Landers and Pat Megason of De Kalb, Texas; three grandchildren, Brooke Batchelor and Ethan and Jenna Lann of De Kalb, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Harold D. Lambert officiating.

Visitation will be 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Bates Family Funeral Home.
