Copeland, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at a Texarkana hospital. She was 70. Shirley was born January 20, 1941, in De Kalb, Texas, to Edgar and Beautice Brown Copeland. She was retired from Red River Army Depot. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Cleta Rogers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Gary Pace of New Boston, Texas; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, C.W. and Lariece Copeland of De Kalb, Texas, Anthony and Kathy Copeland of De Kalb, Texas, Paul Copeland of De Kalb, Texas and Ronnie Copeland of De Kalb, Texas; a grandson, Cody Woodard of De Kalb, Texas; a great grandson, Wesley Woodard and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 9, 2011, at SpringHill Cemetery, De Kalb, Texas. Visitation will be held 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M.
