(March 06, 1974 to January 18, 2012 ) Resident of Texarkana, Texas Visitation Information: There will be no visitation. Obituary: Sean Gerber, 37, of Texarkana, died Wednesday January 18, 2012 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mr. Gerber was born March 6, 1974, in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a truck driver for a local wrecker service. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Gerber, and grandparents, J.D. and Myrtle Keck, Vernon Gerber and Jessie Yeager. Survivors include his mother, Darla Gerber; one daughter, Madison Gerber of Texarkana, Ark; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jamie Hogan and Danny and Staci Hogan, and several aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be 10:30, Saturday at Buchanan United Methodist Church, Buchanan Loop Rd, Texarkana. Local arrangements under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home. |

Mrs.darla and madison and family im so sorry for ur loss i will miss sean he was a good and kind man and a very good friend .im praying for yall i know god had a purpose for sean to go be with him he is an angel lookin down at us.im glad i got to have met him. god bless yall . wanda

To Darla and the family, Thinking you in our prayers at this sad time. I remember Sean as a sweet, hard working young man, so very nice. He worked at the Dairy Queen for a while. You worked at the church nursery with my mom. Bonnie Douglass back then. We lived in Texarkana, AR at the time. Anyhow, it has been a while but I wanted to let you know how very sorry our family is. I cannot believe he is gone. I cannot imagine the pain his daughter and mother are feeling. If there is anything i can do please let me know i am praying for god to give you grace and strength in this tough time. He was a good guy and loved you both so very much always know that god bless
